hoya

There are a wide variety of hoya plants that come in various shapes, colors, and textures. Originally from Asia and, Australia & Oceania, the tropical plants enjoy high humidity and warm temperatures.

Being a parasitic plant, hoya lives in the gaps of and climbs trees. Therefore, they grow dramatically faster if they have something to climb on. Besides, due to their original surviving condition, hoya can tolerate low light, although they will appreciate bright indirect light, and most prefer soil to be completely dried out between waters.

Hoya is not the easiest plant, but there’s no doubt it’s a good start for your planting journey. They will survive in most conditions as long as not overwatered. On top of everything else, all hoya is nontoxic to pets and humans. They are safe enough for your furry friends and children.
